Apr 25, 2023Are you a massage business owner looking to expand your reach in 2023? With the rise of digital marketing, it's essential to stay up-to-date with the latest strategies to get ahead of your competition. Let’s explore three effective ways to market your massage business and reach your ideal clientele. From optimizing your Google My Business page to collaborating with micro-influencers, these strategies are sure to bring in more customers and help your business thrive. So, let's dive in and take your massage business to the next level!
Optimize Your Google My Business Page
You want to make sure that your Google My Business page is set up properly and optimized. Google My Business is the number one way people find businesses online, besides word of mouth and referrals. To set up your Google My Business page, you need to register your name on Google My Business and get a postcard sent to your address. After registering your Google My Business, you need to ensure that your business name, phone number, links to book with you, and photos that represent your business are correct. You should also use keywords that represent your business in your description, such as "athletic massage therapist," "sports massage," and anything else related to sports massage. The more active you are with updating your Google My Business page, the more likely that Google is going to push your services out to people searching for massage in their area.
Using Local Hashtags on Social Media
When making posts on social media platforms like Instagram, you want to research local hashtags that your clients are using instead of general hashtags like "massage" or "massage therapist." For example, if you live in Atlanta, you can use hashtags like "AtlantaMassage" or "AtlantaMassageTherapist" to help your clients find you more easily.
Collaboration with Micro-influencer
The first step is to identify micro-influencers in the area who would fit the ideal clientele and have a significant following with high engagement. Then, I suggest contacting them and forming a relationship, offering mutual benefits such as discounts, free sessions, or a day rate at the spa. This could lead to the micro-influencer creating user-generated content such as TikTok videos sharing their experience at the spa, which could bring in leads and interested customers to the business.
